The Ohio Invasive Plants Council (OIPC) will be hosting a workshop entitled “Invasive Plants in Your Backyard” about invasive plants, their identification, controls, and alternatives at the Cedar Bog Nature Center. The day will include an overview of invasive plants, how to control invasive plants, and alternatives to use in landscaping; restoration efforts at Cedar Bog; land stewardship at the Miami County Park District; lunch, plant specimens, handouts, and a short field trip.
