Effective April 1st, access to the Cedar Bog Nature Preserve property will be limited to the *following hours (please read below for additional information):
Monday: Closed
Tuesday: Closed
Wednesday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Thursday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Friday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Saturday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Sunday: Closed
*The Nature Center will be open year-round instead of closing during the winter. These hours are subject to change at any time. Additional closures may be instituted at any time.
The posted hours are a result of much discussion between The Ohio History Connection, the Cedar Bog Association trustees, and other partners regarding liability issues, damage to and loss of sensitive habitat, staffing limits, and other concerns. The Cedar Bog Association trustees are working diligently to add programming, staff, and volunteers that will allow us to extend the posted hours in the future.
